An architect's folded-paper language, shrunk to fit the hand — where the grip of the hand becomes the site, and the folds follow.
Fold takes the origami language architects use when building models, and shrinks the model into a vessel you can hold. Each form begins from the grip of the hand; following its ergonomics, the folded planes appear.
The palette is black and white. The iron-glaze and paper-pulp versions push a quieter idea — “seeing is deceiving” — where the true texture of a piece can only be known by touch and use.
