Moss creeping over a white wall — nature quietly writing in the blank spaces we leave behind. The full collection, below.
The Moss series draws on the green that gathers on an old white wall — a quiet coexistence of nature and stone, and the traces time leaves on a surface. Hand-painted engobe brings that mottled green to life like an ink-wash; by controlling the thickness of the slip, the colour blooms naturally in the firing.
Wood-ash glaze adds the sense of time. Poured to flow and pool, it crystallises into tiny “golden flowers” — like sunlight scattered across leaves, each one a unique cipher of time. The forms stay traditional, their curves following the creeping trail of the moss itself.
